Privacy policy
Patch's Games (the app and patchcat.co.uk) · Last updated: 8 October 2026
In short: Patch's Games does not collect any personal information. There are no accounts, no adverts, no tracking and no analytics. Nothing you do in the games is sent to us.
What we collect
Nothing. We don't ask for names, email addresses, ages, locations or any other personal details, and the app doesn't use the camera, microphone, contacts or photos.
What stays on your device
To make the games work, a few things are saved on your own phone, tablet or computer: best scores, saved chess games, settings such as sound and music on or off, and whether the extra games have been unlocked. These never leave your device, and we can't see them. Deleting the app, or clearing your browser's website data, removes them.
Buying the extra games
The one-off purchase that unlocks the extra games is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, Apple Account or payment details. Apple's own privacy policy applies to that purchase. In the app, a grown-up check is shown before any purchase so children can't buy anything by accident.
The website
patchcat.co.uk is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare may briefly process technical information such as your internet (IP) address to deliver the site and keep it secure. We don't use cookies, adverts or analytics on the website.
Children
Patch's Games is made for children. Because we don't collect any personal information, we don't collect any from children either. Parents are welcome to contact us with any questions.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
